This has become one of our favorite weekend brunch spots. My favorite is the pineapple upside down pancake and my husband's new favorite is the katsu chicken omelet. The tater tot sides are delish and the coconut syrup is a favorite for me and my daughter. Everything is delish! And they have the best nugget ice! Sometimes they're can be a little bit of a wait for a table, but the move quickly to get everyone seated.... View all feedback.
What Dunia Melak doesn't like about Just A Pinch Cafe Catering:
Good was horrible. Menu was very confusing….tacos, burgers and spam. We waited over 45 minutes to get a waffle and croissant sandwich. Waiter forgot to put in our order and was lying. Would not recommend! View all feedback.

I've been here twice now, and I wanted to bring my wife here since she's got a soft spot for Hawaii after living there for years. The place specializes in brunch and Hawaiian cuisine. If you've ever traveled there, you'll feel like you're back between items such as spam, loco moco, and Hawaiian macaroni salad. In both experiences, the service was amazing. This is the kind of place where you can have a full on conversation with your server. It feels like a classic diner. On the latest visit, my wife had the aforementioned loco moco while I ordered the biscuits, gravy and more. For those unfamiliar, loco moco is a popular Hawaiian dish consisting of rice, an egg, a hamburger steak, and brown gravy. She was very impressed, and it made her reminisce about her time back on the islands. The biscuits, gravy, and more came with eggs and a side of spam, and although tasty, I think it could have used a little more seasoning. With that being said though, I'd be more than willing to give other interesting selections from their menu a try.Give this place a go if you're looking for a new local brunch spot or want to try some Hawaiian food!
My spouse and I went to breakfast on a Saturday morning. The service was perfectly fine; the restaurantwas clean, and even the restrooms smelled great. Unfortunately, the food didn't match. I had the pineapple upside down pancake breakfast, with scrambled eggs, sausage and tater tots; with their homemade coconut syrup. The syrup strongly reminded me of suntan lotion; it was such a strong smell, but little taste. The pancakes were ok; very thin, but where the pineapple rings and cherries were, seemed very undercooked...mushy at best. The eggs were all right. The sausage tasted like old oil. The bright spot were the tater tots; super crispy, but needed some sort of seasoning. Spouse had the French toast with chicken, an tater tots. He says the French toast was all right, but not outstanding; and agreed with me about the tater tots. One of the chicken katsu tasted and was cooked just fine; the other piece tasted old and was not as warm as the other piece. We both had coffee; he had a regular, and I had the hazelnut blend. We both agreed...the coffee was just bad. Neither one of us drank more than half a cup...even doctoring with cream and sugar couldn't make it taste any better. All in all, we'll give this place a pass next time we are in Fleming Island.
We had a great morning there. the mimosas were delicious. i had steak and eggs with cheese grits. my steak was excellent, medium to the T, grits nice and creamy, the bisquit soft and hot ?. tamie, our waitress was a joy. this was my first but definitely not my last time. great job 'just a pinch '!
