Very slow service if it didn't seem too busy. The server admitted they were new, but I was surprised that they had no training or shadow. Over 30 minutes between sitting to order No refills until I have forgotten items, especially the soup we saw sitting in the kitchen window... This place is one of the best. If you have not stopped in the Hideout, you must. Eclectic quantity and large jukebox! long islands are huge and always special! Look at it!
That would be 5 stars if I could have Sue every night. Sue is the reason I come back. She's kind, she remembers me when I come in and is always so polite. She has a good opinion on food and is formed over her surroundings. Jen behind the bar is also brilliant. Between the two we see one or the other while we are here and because we come back!
Have tried to eat healthy, which is not always easy in a bar/restaurant. Served chicken cabobs with green paprika, onions, served with cola and rice with a tomato sauce. It was delicious. Since there were 2 kabobs, I saved one for lunch. The winery was also delicious and cold. The waitress was great!
Great drinks and good food. All those who worked there were very nice! Merry Christmas!
We had the best waitress. we hadn't seen her in a while and it was nice to see her. She is totally cool and does a perfect job. She caught my husband trying to grab some menus and he said he usually had to wait so he was skipping a step. She was a lot of fun to chat with. He loved his reef special sandwich and chicken noodle soup. My chili and BLT were good and I had left overs!
