Whilst staying in CLARE to ride the Riesling Trail I stopped int his bakery to get some fresh bread. As I entered I was greeted by a smile from a woman behind the counter who asked what I would like. I couldn't give her an answer for quite a few minutes because there were so many cakes and slices I had not seen made anywhere else. There were too many temptations to choose from. What User doesn't like about Main Street Bakehouse:
Went to get some slice for afternoon tea. No prices displayed. Choose 2 pieces of date and walnut slice. Not huge slices. Cost $11. My husband had lunch at the local pub for less than that. Sure they taste nice. Not sure worth that much. View all feedback.
