Today, December 8, 2022, to celebrate my mother’s dream, we decided to eat fish dishes. One of the most terrifying culinary experiences of our lives. I took a 25 euro menu that was really nothing saved: I ask the white wine still and I bring it sparkling, appetizer of sea and octopus directly out of the frozen busts of the Eurospin, first composed of gnocchetti with acid tomato and shell of crab all spread in the pot with the risk of chopping and 0 pulp. Passing to the second, comes a fried of squids (obviously also these just out of a Penny market) gummed, without salt= inevitable. Fried potatoes eatable but nothing. I finally get the lemon sorbet served without even a teaspoon. My parents take the pastries to the seafood for 2 people: what to say, I am still exterminated to remember that “piatto”. Hot, cold, frozen seafood. 25 euros for a dish that is inevitable is a compliment. Then there comes the last dish, the grill of fish: disappointment on disappointment, unsaturated fish, without even a slight hint of taste, only slight mention those prawns just eatable. Chapter service: the staff is highly questionable, they didn't even bring the cutlery for the sorbet and we had to ask several times that they brought us drinks and extra tissues. Conclusions: I would not recommend it to anyone, even to poor people who are hungry. You eat much better at the canteen, at caritas, not exaggerating. Back home we all had stomach problems just to make you understand what quality we are talking about. The final account: 95 euro. We did you a benefit. I was impressed by their kindness, the proposal of the menu of the day, the quality and quantity of the portions. Next time, I'll definitely try their pizza. Honest prices. Try... To believe!

Our hotel recommended this restaurant when we asked for local seafood. We booked a table at 8pm for our large party and we showed up a few minutes early. The restaurant is in central Arezzo and it was nearly empty, which concerned us at first. But this is Italy, and within 15 minutes the entire place was full of local couples and families chatting, drinking wine and ordering from an excellent menu. The seafood was fresh and wonderfully prepared. I had a first course of pasta and was a little worried that I might not be able to finish my second course which was the mixed seafood grill. Oh my, was that good! I ate it all and happily skipped dessert. One of our party ordered calamari and we were delightfully surprised when she was served an entire calamari. That's what I call fresh! You will be very happy with this restaurant.
