Nice industrial decor. Clean. More of a sandwich place, not tapas. Reasonably priced food and drinks. I would go back.

Large place to drink, today several hahn beers were green colored to remember st. patrick’s, I like the outside seats and the music next to the street. Drinks are also cheap and the inner atmosphere is much private and isolated. I prefer outside. smoke friendly.

Great bistro with a very extensive menu and full selection of drinks. the staff was super friendly and the food was very delicious. we went several times during our stay in Panama City. beautiful decoration and good music that covers our experience! they frighten jonathan, the manager who has formed a few for us and told us about a nice drink specialist. Stop, you won't regret it!

I write this review because I sit here, came in and the waitress has only one job. we said hello, how are we doing? she looks at us as if she doesn't want us to be here. we ordered our food. they brought it out at different times. the longest. We only got them when we're done. all the time, both waitresses had an attitude. only place in panama we regret it.

What a friendly efficient staff at this new little eatery. We are visiting Panama City for a few days and came across La Tapa by chance a great find. The menu in Spanish has a good variety of dishes. As you can judge by its name it's not the place to go for a full three course dinner, but is great to enjoy several small dishes. We highly recommend this very well aircondtioned cafe for lunch, afternoon drinks and snacks or a light evening meal. The cafe is open Monday Saturday from 12 noon 12 midnight.
