Red Resto & Lounge

We celebrated my father's birthday here, and after seeing how good it was, we came back to the second time. the menu has a set of different options, so it is possible for everyone to find what they want. the eating itself is very high quality and beautifully arranged on the plates. the service is excellent and always there if you need it. they can easily book a table online and if I told them we had a birthday party, they made us special dessert. I can highly recommend this restaurant. it is elegant and the price/performance ratio is perfect.

We walked in and maitre d' said with a bad attitude and feeling annoyed that he had to go back to the kitchen, that chef can “probably” accommodate our food needs. We arrived late at the hotel and decided to stay, how bad can a...famous chef be at coking veggies? Well… TripAdvisor lists this restaurant as vegan/vegetarian-friendly and that is not true. Our waitress was exceptional and was trying hard to help us. We ordered some sushi, third-grade quality and an only plate offered: rice with veggies and tofu. The dish came and had absolutely no taste, which we returned and got back swimming in soy sauce. A high-end restaurant that 1. is not keeping up with what is happening in the world and having no dish on the menu that is vegan, 2. chef that cannot make rice with veggies and tofu taste good, and 3. be charged astronomical price for it is a terrible offer. Do not recommend and will not be back.

We enjoyed the Red Resto overall, especially the service. Unfortunately, I found the beef to be too chewy, but my husband found it satisfying enough. The other dish we ordered (a side of spinach and mushrooms with an egg) was delicious, but extremely small. As...an English speaker, I did not see that they were going to charge for the bread or the appetizer (amuse bouche) that they automatically bring to each person. We also thought the wine was quite expensive. It is an elegant restaurant, but we found it to be too pricey for what we received.

We eat in this restaurant on two different occasions both times the food was excellent with a good choice of wines although we were surprised to find the red wine was served chilled. The steak was to die for! on the second occasion the restaurant...and bar were very busy and they did struggle with the service but this was and exception.

If they are in the region worth it, in this restaurant, nice eating and beautiful waiter. eating is good to serve, so it goes by itself, it is not so great unless they eat a lot. this restaurant is located below madero hotel, so if it is at...20h it is quiet, but after 21h30 it begins to get full, so maybe better get a reservation
