What User doesn't like about Vicente:
I booked the same day. the pretty scattered mozo. he had to rectify an order several times. excellent fucciles to the fierrito with spinach sauce, trout and milanesa paola very good! We paid with card and made us two tiquets that I did not understand. I don't know if we come back. the " apples' stutter" was hot! the rest acceptable. View all feedback.
Vicente is known in Belgrano and Coghlan. Asado is often boiled, pasta ok. Prices high and service bad. No parking possibility to drive dificult by car. Very dark area. No recommendation
The food was average, but the problem was that it was really dirty. To begin the table was dirty, it had oil stains and the plate had cramps of something, at this point they had not even brought the bread.
This is a real restaurant in Buenos Aires Barrio. I live in the same street as a local, I must say this place is already a castic in the neighborhood. Decoration is great, good taste and clean. Food is mainly Italian, but they also have amazing parrillas (drilled options), meat and chicken. Wine selection is also great, but the main thing why I really like this restaurant is the service that is very professional and friendly. Totally recomended if you are looking for a real gem in Coghan, the smallest Barrio of Buenos Aires
Vicente is a typical small neighborhood restaurant located at the west corner of Dr. Rómulo Naón and Dr Pedro Ignacio Rivera in the Coghlan neighborhood. While specializing in Italian dishes, their menu also features main courses from el parrilla (the grill). I like Vicente because the service is good, the food is tasty, and they accept credit cards. It was close to where we were working, so convenience was also another big reason for us going there. My favorite dish at Vicente is the jamon y ricotta (ham and ricotta cheese) ravioli, although I also tried their entraña and asado from the grill and enjoyed them both as well. I'm not much a wine drinker, so I usually had either an agua sin gas or a Coca comun (regular Coke), both of which are served in bottles, as was the case at every other restaurant I ate at in Buenos Aires. The men's room at Vicente is also one of the nicest I encountered in all of Buenos Aires, for what that's worth. Would I go back again? I have already done so several times, and I will continue to do so as long as I make trips back to Buenos Aires.
We were so fortunate to have this restaurant at the end of our street and we ate here many times during our stay. There is also a great ice cream store opposite called Lucca. The food was value for money and tasted great. We were told that the restaurant doesn't advertise online and that they don't often get tourists. That said, a few of the waitstaff spoke English and were very patient with our poor Spanish. Expect a bit of a wait on Thurs-Sunday nights (even at 11pm) as Vicente is very popular with the locals. Try the paella, mix de carne (enough for 3 people), popeye (a spinach salad) and the papas de provençal!
