Very nice staff, my friend needed to charge his phone. Although they were closing in 10mim. The gentleman let us sit inside for the last 10min to let him charge his phone. I decided to purchase a baked good for his hospitality and it was very good. The interior is also very nice and clean.Food: 5/5 View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Le Pain Quotidien:
Nice place just across Bryant Park. There're plenty of seating space, and an assorted variety of pastries and beverages and coffee. Service is not excellent but the personnel is super kind. I recommend to stop by if you're nearby. View all feedback.
The service is very bad! They didn't have fork till I finished my meal. They put a full set of silverware on the table next to us that hadn't even ordered yet, while I had my plate on the table and had to eat my salad with my fingers. They took forever to bring the pastries from the front table, and they hadn't even warmed it up. My coffee was cold by the time they delivered my pastry. Very unorganized and not clean service.
This place is very good, they have great food and good prices. The environment is very relaxing with good music. Their mix of flavors is spectacular; I had a chicken mozzarella melt, it had pesto, tomatoes and arugula, very very good. My cousin had the smoked mozzarella and tomato sandwich, also very good. We finished with a waffle and chia pudding… omg, they were absolutely amazing, not too sweet, but really tasty and satisfying. Most definitely recommend this place to spend sometime and share with your people.
Always come here when in the city. My waiter was fantastic but the staff who clean the tables are an issue. I left my food to go to the ladies room, and when I came back it was taken away. I took one bite out of the croissant and was going to take it with me. I will be back, but if I leave my table, will be sure to tell cleaning staff to not take my food. They did have plenty of seats in the restaurant so not sure why the rush. Lesson learned.

I always appreciate a New York Cafe with a minimal wait, quick service, and delicious food. Not to mention some of the most helpful staff I've ever encountered while visiting the city. The croque monsieur was delicious and the perfect size to start a day in the city! Their hot chocolate is quite an experience and definitely for the hot cocoa connoisseur. A great stop outside Bryant Park and the NYPL.
