Curry is quite flavorful and the Katsu tastes pretty good. The employee working (I think his name is Angel) was very nice! I like the food but the prices are a bit high for me to come here every day. Still a nice place and I like it a lot. View all feedback.
What Bill C doesn't like about Go Go Curry (w 19th St):
This has always been one of my favorite places to eat in NYC but my last visit was disappointing.I had the “Home Run” and dined in. While the meal was delicious the portion was so small that I was still hungry afterwards and I don’t even eat a lot.Service was awful. Hey! Have you ever had Japanese curry? If you answered no, then allow me to introduce you to Go Go Curry.Go Go Curry comes with a protein, a bed of rice covered in curry sauce, and last but not least shredded cabbage. Now you can always buy a combo my personal favorite is the Homerun with chicken katsu.Japanese curry is distinctly different than Chinese, Indian and Jamaican curries. With a darker hue and thicker texture but oh so flavorful.I do recommend giving Go Go Curry a chance.Pros1)Options of chicken, pork, fish, tofu, shrimp tempura and sausage as a protein2)vegetarian based curry is an option3)If hungry the Homerun combo will fill you upCons1)Price. If your like me and want some add on’s it can get a tad pricey like couldn’t extra curry sauce be incremental in price instead of the almost $4 base. Like $1.50 for an extra spoonful. To top it off. Great tasty filling food for an almost premium price. Price aside you do get a lot for your dollar, you might not eat there often but it’s a nice alternative to try
Literally the worst chicken cutlet i’ve ever eaten, it tasted like a deep fried napkin
MEALPAL REVIEW ONLY SKIP IF YOU KNOW ABOUT MEALPAL:MealPal is an app where you pay upfront $91 for 10 12 meals $7/meal) which is cheap especially if you're in the city. Each store that offers MealPal makes one special each day, creates it in bulk, and serves that to MealPal customers.I got the pork katsu and it was fine. Their curry is has a thick consistency and it's not quite what I'm used to tbf I feel this way about the chain overall, not just this particular location. I thought the amount of pork katsu was great, the curry sauce was there and there was a lot of it, and the cabbage was good! I think the MealPal meal is the small size, so it was somewhat filling, but I could still have eaten more after my meal. This location is tiny, though there is limited seating, but when I stopped by around 2PM, there was still room for single diners! Service was quick and great, no complaints here!

It’s clear that he doesn’t like speaking to people which makes me question why he’s working a job in customer service.I would steer clear of this location in the future.
Large is big enough for 2 people share. Flavor is really good. Don't fprget tonadd pickled radish, added a really good crunch. Staff is super nice.Food: 5/5
