Great pub, with friendly and knowledgeable staff who genuinely look to give good service. Good range of beers on tap and the food while standard pub grub is high quality and clearly the kitchen team care about delivering to a good standard, while keeping service swift. View all feedback.
I just popped in for a quick glass of wine. I've not been in the Moorgate area for a long time. It's amazing to visit an old style pub nestled between very modern skyscrapers and the remaining parts of the Roman Wall. It's a classic pub, with food and booze. It looks very popular.
I had the most amazing time at The Globe on Saturday! Food was great and service was truly impeccable, we were served by Abbie and she really helped my boyfriend with choosing what to drink as he normally isn't a big beer drinker but he enjoyed everything that day!! 10/10 would recommend and I'll definitely go back to this pub
Booked a table in the afternoon after watching a show at the Barbican centre. Unfortunately it was during a England match so the pub was packed, fortunately though I'm a big rugby fan so didn't really bother us to much. Lovely building and a decent pub too. Nice pint of Peroni and fairly good food. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and friendly. Only reason I didn't give 5 was that our nachos with pulled beef topping was stone cold and my partners ham, egg chips was only luke warm. The rest was OK.
Good spot for a drink after work, has an area oursidefor drinking. Located right near to mooragate tube stop.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food at this restaurant. The pub has a slightly rundown appearance, but it still retains a traditional and classic atmosphere. The food is definitely worth trying, and they serve a good pint of Guinness. One random observation is that the brass windowsills outside are always impeccably maintained.
