What User doesn't like about Johnstons:
Visited Dawat in April, This is an Indian restaurant housed in a very good and centrally located hotel Strand Palace a clear advantage indeed. But this restaurant didn't live upto my expectation. I ordered rice and a spicy lamb dish. The food arrived much...later than expected although the restaurant was almost empty at that time. The proportion wasn't right. Rice portion was a lot less than the lamb. Its good though... View all feedback. What User likes about Johnstons:

read moreDaawats offers a mixed bag of experiences. While some found the food bland and overpriced, others enjoyed a delicious meal with good service. The setting is central and convenient, but the food quality may vary. However, for a decent meal before a theatre visit, it can be a safe bet. The friendly staff and well-cooked dishes make it a good choice for locals and visitors alike. For those craving an English roast dinner without the hassle of cooking, Daawats comes through with excellent food and service. A mixed bag, but worth a try for a satisfying dining experience.
