We ran into this place randomly and what struck us was the ceiling of sausages of their production. Appetizers: mixed cutter meats and cheeses: there is not much to say, only to try Carne: top bombs; excellent paw; I ate better. Very efficient and fast service. Quality/quality/price ratio absolutely unbeatable. To try! View all feedback.
What RPHWoking doesn't like about Arrosteria Del Vicoletto:
Had to try one of these types of restaurants whilst in CISTERNINO, The butcher looked good and we ordered a good selection of meat for our family, however on presenting a card were told they only took cash! This trattoria is connected to the butcher shop where customers buy the dishes that are then cooked and served. The customer then chooses directly what he will eat. We tasted the traditional bombettes and a delicious sausage with roasted potatoes. Also delicious appetizers. Friendly and friendly staff, excellent value for money.
Had to try one of these types of restaurants whilst in Cisternino, The butcher looked good and we ordered a good selection of meat for our family, however on presenting a card were told they only took cash! We were told where the nearest cash machine was, however it only accepted Italian bank cards, so then had to look for another one in the mid day heat. Eventually we had our cash and returned to the butcher, who still had our meat ready. At long last we could sit at our table, have a drink and look forward to our meal it was delicious. This was the only restaurant we came across in two weeks that didn’t take cards it would be useful to make it clear.
This is one of the many fornelli common in Cisternino..not all are open on Sunday so we tried Vicolettta. The butcher shops have an osteria next door with a traditional brick oven where the meat is cooked. You choose the meat at the butcher, get a table, order the wine, antipasti, and vegetables....this is like eating at home. We chose a huge veal cutlet, bone in, Bombette , and some rolled meat with spicey sausage inside. The wine was local (2.50euros a liter), the vegetables were baked smashed potatoes heated in the fornello, marinated (and wonderful) eggplant and artichokes. The meat was as tender as any I have had in Italy. It 's simple food and nothing fancy so go here for the experience, keep your expectations in line, your nose situated at its normal level, and have an experience you won 't get anywhere else. Plenty of fornelli to choose from in Cisternino. I give it four stars for the experience more than the food. Still we were satisfied. Good value/price ration, too. Families will be just fine here.
The place where the breaded bowler was invented. Good formula is good, first you get a table, then choose the meat. Better to go to the opening
