The Brasserie At Cotswold Water Park

The staff at the restaurant were attentive and wonderful. It would be better if they informed guests beforehand if something is out of stock, rather than waiting until after it is ordered. I had mentioned during the booking that it was a birthday celebration, but there was no acknowledgment from the team. The food was delicious, but the bread sharing plate could use some improvement as the bread didn't seem as fresh as it should be. However, the pate starter was amazing!

The food was not very good when we tried the afternoon tea. The bread was a little stale and the cakes were mushy. The service was decent but rather slow.

We couldn't adjust the temperature in the room, which was uncomfortably hot, and opening a window wasn't an option due to the noise outside. Furthermore, the suite next to us was part of a wedding party, so our morning was disrupted by constant knocking on the door starting at 7am, followed by a mini salon set up outside our door with hair and makeup services. Overall, I would not recommend this place at all.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff members I encountered were all very pleasant and eager to assist me. The housekeeping team even went out of their way to send me my lost items. I would give the rooms, service, and location all a perfect score of 5.

This hotel is perfectly fine, but what truly made it a 5-star experience for me was the exceptional reception team. Kirsty, Cheryl, Louise, Lucie, and Caitlin were all extremely professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated. As the initial point of contact for the hotel, I hope the management realizes how fortunate they are to have such an outstanding team representing their business.
