J. Gumbo's - Cincinnati

Very delicious. That was my first time to a J Gumbos and it was delicious. They said they were made of white rice, but they could put things on Jambalaya. I got the voodoo chicken on Jambalaya and it was great. I'm worried when I come back and get it on the white rice, it won't be so good. I guess I have to try. (or pay $8.00 for two items in the bowl.

Always tasty... always tasty... I took lunch here all summer, which are never disappointing.

Great. This is the first time I've eaten in a J Gumbos since college and it was just as good as I remember. I have my personal favorite, the voodoo chicken. Very sharp and fleshy. Chicken was good and tender. The bread you give with your meal is nothing special but a beautiful side. My girlfriend got the drunk chicken that wasn't very good (I remember that this wasn't very good in college too). Only not much meat in it and not as sharp as we both hoped. Definitely go voodoo chicken if you like spicy food!
