Great. This is the first time I've eaten in a J Gumbos since college and it was just as good as I remember. I have my personal favorite, the voodoo chicken. Very sharp and fleshy. Chicken was good and tender. The bread you give with your meal is nothing special but a beautiful side. My girlfriend got the drunk chicken that wasn't very good (I remember that this wasn't very good in college too). Only not much meat in... View all feedback.
What Terra M doesn't like about J. Gumbo's:
The Shrimp Etouffee Queso was awful, it tasted like gravy with very few shrimp. The Jambalaya was cold and dry when it was served. I do not recommend this restaurant. View all feedback.
Very delicious. That was my first time to a J Gumbos and it was delicious. They said they were made of white rice, but they could put things on Jambalaya. I got the voodoo chicken on Jambalaya and it was great. I'm worried when I come back and get it on the white rice, it won't be so good. I guess I have to try. (or pay $8.00 for two items in the bowl.
Always tasty... always tasty... I took lunch here all summer, which are never disappointing.
My top spot for delicious Cajun food. The staff was very friendly and attentive. It has a good feel to it. They have a lot of positive reviews for a reason.
One of my top places for tasty Cajun food. Great place to meet and catch up with friends. The staff was very friendly and kind. Prices were decent.

Definitely go voodoo chicken if you like spicy food!
