I've visited this pasta bar multiple times in the past few months, trying out all the pasta options available. They are quite delicious! It's a great choice if you're looking for a medium-sized portion, leaving room for more treats in the Press Hall food court. The prices are on the higher side, ranging from $10 to $14 per dish. What A dislikes about Fratelli Pasta:
I was really disappointed compared to their other location. The cannoli didn't taste fresh at all and seemed to have just been heated in the microwave. I won't be coming back. View all feedback.
I agree with the reviews regarding rude lazy staff, overpriced and small portions. After an unfortunate encounter with Monique who works the register and a very small portion, I certainly have no interest in returning. I would not say the food was bad, but not worth the $10 charged for pasta and really not worth $14. For a good pasta (and good non-threatening customer service) try their flagship restaurant. OR Nicolini's restaurant for a really good spaghetti and meat sauce.
A bit overpriced but overall taste is good. They also serve pastries and coffee from Flight Coffee. Great for morning grabs or afternoon coffee break. Lunchtimes can get busy as usual. Friendly staff service. Definitely recommended trying out their special deal ‘coffee and freshly made canolli’ for $6. This deal is available daily from 9-11am and 2-close, and all day on Saturdays. I agree their pasta price could be reduced a bit, but overall great service, great coffee, great food.
14 dollars for a tiny portion of pasta with a tiny scoop of cheese served in disposable plate and eaten with plastic fork on the corner of a shared table is crazily overpriced. The quality of the food was alright after I added more salt, paper and spices. The fair price for this would be 9 dollars...
Fratelli services a purpose. For busy people looking for something cheap that's not subway it's ideal, however as a big pasta fan I found the pasta overcooked and the cream sauce that came with the fusili rather bland.
The food is quite delicious, and the location is excellent. The staff provides great customer service. However, the portions are rather small for the price.
