I happily give them this 5/5 for the loveliest experience of southern food provided. I'm from Auckland and never have I tasted Chicken waffles so good. Alongside it my kind of staple of the Supreme cold brew served in a pint and attended by the most easygoing and friendly waiter around.The waffles crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, chicken tenders juicy and biting on the outside, maple syrup to tie it all together and the richest maple butter.Poutine, chicken sandwich and biscuits all hit the mark very well also but yes I would come down for the waffles anytime.

So ive decided that fiveboroughs on cuba street … ive seen interesting content on instagram and heard only good things about their fried chicken , so i went to check what was going on there . nice little place , with the american vibe , a few of the specials on the walls … the friendly staff will guide you through menu !

Came today for lunch and had a great time. Owner was there and he was very pleasant and accommodating. We enjoyed our meals. It was our 3rd year anniversary so we were shouted a glass of Prosecco each which was very nice. I ordered the Ruben sandwhich which I enjoyed and was full afterwards. My partner enjoyed his chicken burger and we also got some chicken wings to share and poutine fries which were both really yummy. Only negative was it would of been nicer if the gravy on the poutine fries was more richer and more of a darker gravy. Partner ordered the battered Oreo dessert and it was was yum. Service was really quick for us even though I have seen reviews of guests waiting a while for their food, we didnt experience this. Music may have been a bit too loud during dinning.
