It was a waste of time to have made a reservation with Open Table because the hostess was not attentive or aware of open table. She was quick to correct the oversight though. She bumped us from not being on the list at all to being next.
The restaurant didn't seem too concerned about Open Table reservations, but rather focused on whether we were CPK Rewards members. I ordered the pizza and soup lunch special, and while the smashed pea soup was delicious, the pizza was a bit dry and overdone. My wife liked her salad. Our waiter was constantly busy with numerous customers, but he did a good job of keeping my water glass full, which is how I personally gauge service.
After placing our order, we waited 35 minutes for our food to arrive. Unfortunately, when we took our first bite, we found that it was cold. We informed our waiter, and the manager came over to address the issue. He apologized and asked us how he could make it right. We requested a discount on our meal, as we did not want to wait another 35 minutes for new food. The manager agreed and also offered us a complimentary dessert. Despite the disappointment of cold food and slow service, we appreciated the gesture. For our next visit, we may opt for takeout instead.
We were seated promptly and the service was extremely attentive!
They were not very interested in Open Table, more interested in whether we were CPK Rewards members. Food was pretty good, I had the pizza and soup special. I enjoy the crushed pea soup. The pizza was a bit dry and overhauled. My wife enjoyed her salad. Our waiter was busy with many customers. He did a good job to keep my waterglass full, that is my personal measure of service.
