What Special B doesn't like about The Broken Yolk Cafe:
I was expecting better for what I was paying. I love omelettes, so I ordered one of the signature ones and it wasn?t good. The egg was very thin and it had little flavor, if any. The home fries were a mixture of overly hard and soft , tasted somewhatstale. My iced coffee tasted watered down? not much coffee to. I ordered it for a pick me up and it definitely wasn?t givingthat. The most enjoyable part was the biscuit... View all feedback.
Great service. Nice, attentive staff. 4 of us. Everyone loved their food. Fresh delicious. We’ll be back!
Great service and the absolute best breakfast burrito in town.
Love the food. It was an awesome experience. Great place for brunch.
This place offers so many dishes, it was hard to decide what to order. I finally went with the special, hash brown Bennie. It was delicious and very filling. It had spinach, corned beef hash, egg, toast , with hollandaise sauce on top with a side of hash brown potatoes. My daughter had the harvest pancakes that had almonds and walnuts in it. It was also very good, but she did not care for the orange syrup as it was so thick it did not pour down her pancakes. It just sat on top. The wait staff was very attentive and customers were arriving in a steady stream.
Yummy!. Moved here from western ky in january and ive been trying to experience all the different places around my new home. a friend from back home flew in and wanted to try the iron man challenge after seeing it on Man V. Food. pictures will prove that he ate everything EXCEPT the two oversized mounds of dough they refer to as 'biscuits ' with 15 minutes to spare. the so called biscuits were hard as bricks and not worth eating. i had the jack of hears omelet (4 eggs, bacon, artichoke hearts, and jack cheese) and wheat toast. i dont know if its the wheat bread or the butter they use but either way, i LOVE their toast! my husband and son both had french toast- husband loved it, son wouldnt eat it. <br/ <br/ service was quick, efficient and friendly. it reminded me of a hometown breakfast stop stuffed into a fancy building. my only gripe is that they serve all drinks EXCEPT water in huge cups. i drink water. thats it. i got a glass of water that was the size of a coffee cup. i guess since they cant charge for water they wont give you lots of it. who knows. <br/ <br/ i will go back. i have to sample more of the menu. and i will ask for a huge glass of water.
