Tucked down behind Cooking with Gas, opposite the Arts Centre, is this great place. The food and atmosphere are lovely and the bar staff always pleasant.Fairy lights and casual dining you would have no idea from the front this was hidden here.

The best kept secret in Christchurch, follow the path beside cook 'n ' with Gas restaurant and you shall find a garden bar like no other. You could travel far and wide and find a better bar, though you will never find a better barman than Greg.

I just love Astro. I go on a Sunday afternoon to listen to groovy music and chill out. The service is good and it's all together a nice place to hang out
