Fish Tavern H Kyra Despoina - Chios

Perfect sea food, best in Chios. You should try grilled octopus and calamari.

Location is fantastic. People are nice but the food was avarage. Sadly I didn't enjoy the Grilled Octopus.

Pleasant little seafood tavern right at the sea side. Caught it at 1630 so a bit slower yet still full of people. It is not on the water but has a pleasant exterior and space for customers including some tables on the street. Good selection of classical dishes, as well as fresh sea food which is worthwile. A bit more on the expensive side for Xios but still decent prices compared to other islands. The sea food was fresh and good quantities, service a bit slow otherwise would have been a 4.5 stars. Worth a visit!

As everywhere we got a bottle of cold water at the beggining. Then we orderd fried calamari and got one big fried calamari, which was OK, but we are used to smaller once. At the end of the meal we got some fruits on the house, which was really nice. There is enough space to serve also a large group of people. We also ordered greek musaka, which could be better taste and warmer.

We had a great time in Kyra Despoina while in Chios. It is just a little restaurant with great variety of fish and stuff. The only problem for me was shrimps were little bit over cooked in the barbecue. The rest of great ;
