This pub has a good selection of real ales that ask whether they want a long glass or a one with a handle, to be pumped into their piping glass. These are the UK equivalent of our craft beer – the only difference is that they are served at room temperature.

We travel from South Africa and our very good friends have brought us here. I had the deaf (one of my top meal times ever and my partner the färger and maische it was recommended and recommended to anyone who read this. the choice of beer and variety on the menu of local rustic food was the best we had in Britain! my daughter is a chef back in Stellenbosch and we always experience new and amazing eating. but the royal standard is really a standard we have been waiting for, and all should be measured on this high standard. thanks!
