at the grocer around 15 during a long cycle in a group of 6 stops. we had large coffee and tea servers from helpful friendly staff followed by very generous sourdough bacon and tomato cutney sandwiches served with fresh delicious salat garnish. they were excellent and very fast produced as we are the drinks. highly recommended. What LMarshUK doesn't like about The Grocer At 15:
We stopped in Amersham after a Sunday afternoon walk in the South Bucks Way. Too late in the day for a big lunch, especially when faced with the counter full of homemade cakes. My husband and I shared an open sandwich with avocado, feta, lime and chilli on thin-sliced rye toast. It was really tasty, but it was fully matched by the gorgeous coffee and walnut cake, a latte and a cappuccino. We sat at a table in the win... View all feedback.
Great coffeeshop. I loved the fresh lemon and minze tee that made it for me from the menu.

The prices at this restaurant were extremely high and the portions of cake were small. The coffee was bitter and the worst I have ever had. There were flies in the window area, as none of the front bay windows seemed to open to allow for ventilation. There were dried coffee stains on the wall near where I was sitting, indicating a lack of cleanliness. Additionally, I witnessed what appeared to be the manager arguing aggressively with an elderly man who wanted to pay in cash. The man seemed confused and unable to understand why he couldn't pay with cash, but the manager insisted on card payment despite the man not having a card. Our overall experience was terrible and we will not be returning. I would recommend avoiding this place as there are many other coffee shops in Old Amersham.
I had an amazing coffee at this restaurant. The barista, Alex, was clearly skilled and made a delicious coffee with a friendly smile.
This establishment can only be described as average at best. While the cakes looked great, the staff seemed unhappy and the loud music was more irritating than relaxing. When we asked for a third chair, the staff member was dismissive and unhelpful. The bill for three cakes and two cups of tea came to £25, with an added service charge that was not optional. The bathrooms were also disgusting, with water all over the floor. Overall, the experience was not worth it due to the high cost, lack of cleanliness, and poor attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, I would not return to this place.
