We were driving through from Vancouver and stopped for dinner. Ordered the rice noodle with beef, fingers ginger chicken, fried rice and almond chicken. The whole family enjoyed our dinner and off on our road trip. Would come back View all feedback.
What Selina Gutmann doesn't like about Canton Garden:
this is by far the worst chinese food I have ever attempted to eat.Took a few bites that was it,didn't complain just paid and left. They seemed quite puzzled that I didn't want the **** I left behind packaged for take out. Worst **** ever View all feedback.
The service was good and friendly and fast. eating was honestly the worst thing I ever had in a Chinese restaurant. the sweet and sour pig was a strange tasting, not sweet and sour at all. it seemed to be dried. the chow mine had triangular, slit chicken pieces in it. how it processed huh. again a strange strange taste, made me worried that it was old. the sweet was very dirty. I never go there again.
Over priced for what they get by score: roasted rice 4/5 wonton suppe 3/5 bark chop suey 5/5 egg rolls 1/5 early rolls 2/5 Mongolian bark 1/5 sweet and sour boneless pigs 2/5 cost $144.00 in front of tip. this was a sale order: The...egg roll was in the round a thick Pogo stick battery filled with a bit of rust sprout and meat. very doughy. the spring rolls were somewhat better, the same filling in a thin baked goods pack, but extremely greasy. literally drip oil and roll. Mongolian bark was blasphemy and tasteless, no banginess as advertised. sweet and sour pork was bland and also not sweet or sour. wonton soup was in order, but not the best, the seven were literally ground boars without spicy. very bland suppe. frieder reis was ok with a lot of garnel and meat, but was a little gooey. the star was the chiff suey, the veggies were made very beautiful. overall, this was an expensive disappointment. I had Chinese eating from other local diners for $35 $45, which were much better. there were remnants, but honestly they went to the food. Too bad we had great hopes on this place after other reviews. the personal was very friendly and I feel bad for this repentance given this factor, but I must be honest for $144.00 I feel demolished.
I go to the Chinese food place, eat is so delicious and has always filled me, but want more. the service is great and very polite.
We ordered a burger and pommes from the canton before a week and my friends were sick an hour after eating the burger and still is a little I would not recommend this restaurant
Usually use Gingko but had not so good during covid. Went to use Capital but closed Monday best of the best) thought if we would pay more for better but capital closed. Used Canton years and years ago. Was decent. Ordered our usual we...do with gingko and repeated twice ‘shrimp chow mein’ Hubby came home no chow mein and bill $52 . What! Got more at gingko for $35...and that was discount for pick up! Called back and young lady repeated our bill with out chow mein. I said what? Food was worse than gingko! For almost twice the price! Gross... never again and young lady really didn’t care! Won’t go back!
