Some found the dishes average and overpriced, while others praised the delicious beef pie and great service. The waiting times can be quite long, and the noise level may be off-putting for some. Overall, the Rising Sun is a hit or miss depending on individual preferences and experiences. Prices range from £20-30 per person, making it an option for those looking for a casual dining experience.
We ate twice here. on a Friday evening and Sunday dinner. both paint the atmosphere, the beer and the food was great. it was very busy on Sunday and took a little longer to get drinks....but hey ho. it is worth a trip to milland the beautiful trip from lynchmere is magnificent. Why is there no attempt at the pub?
Because of a baby that was born recently, we have been in the ascending sun for a while. Now he's a little older, we decided to give him one away, hoping he didn't write the place. fortunately he was very good and loved the amazing contributors there. I can't say anything about the rising sun. 10/10 in every department.
The toilets are always clean, as the pub is itself inside and outside. There are disabled access to the pub and the toilets. The parking lot is sufficiently large, but also has another one on the other, landlord and lady are very nice and the cook and the staff also great
Lovely pub. Staff great, food excellent. The table tennis in the garden and boules pitch (boules set provided by the lovely staff) made it an idyllic family outing. Highly recommended !
Sunday lunch. Roast beef, roast belly pork (very salty! , roast veg beef salad.
