My recent dining experience at Trattoria Porretta Ristorante Pizzeria and Catering in Chicago was a true culinary delight, offering an authentic taste of Italy and an inviting ambiance that made me feel like I was dining in a traditional trattoria in the heart of Italy.Upon entering Trattoria Porretta, the warm and welcoming atmosphere immediately embraced me. The restaurant 's charming decor, with rustic brick walls, Italian artwork, and soft lighting, created a cozy and inviting setting that set the stage for a memorable Italian dining experience.The menu at Trattoria Porretta featured a wide selection of classic Italian dishes, including mouthwatering pizzas and homemade pastas. After much contemplation, I decided to try their Margherita Pizza and their Fettuccine Alfredo.

Neighborhood family Italian food place with friendly service. All our food was good, excellent calamari. Owner greeted us st the door. Smaller place and was busy at one point.Food: 4/5

Their thin crust pizza is the best if not one of the best thin crust pizza's in Chicago. They've got a delicious BBQ chicken that's served fresh to die for. 10/10 will eat again ?Food: 5/5

I moved into the neighborhood a year ago and have been ordering Porretta’s pizza almost weekly. I’ve always enjoyed it but in the last three months it’s become even better. I order mine well done extra thin and lately they’ve been coming out perfectly. Keep up the good work guys!Food: 5/5
