Contribute FeedbackIn a recent visit, guests encountered multiple frustrations at a local seafood restaurant. Issues included discrepancies between menu specials and actual offerings, leading to a refusal by the owner to honor a clearly stated promotion. Diners reported that food quality fell short—overcooked seafood and gelatinous polenta plagued their meals. Timeliness was also a concern, with orders arriving late and incorrect. Adding to the discontent, the ambiance suffered from loud music and uncomfortable seating. Given the numerous shortcomings, patrons expressed strong disillusionment, vowing not to return to this establishment in the future.
Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing due to the owner's actions. Despite a special offer clearly stated on the menu for 1/2 off fried lobster tails on Wednesdays and Fridays, the owner refused to honor it when we tried to order. The waitress confirmed with the owner that the special was only valid from 5:00 to 8:00, a detail that was not included on the menu. When we requested to speak with the owner, he claimed that the special and timing were mentioned on flyers he had circulating, but he failed to show any proof. We decided to cancel our order, amounting to $130, as the special price discrepancy was not resolved. Only one person in our group had ordered the special, which would have been half the original price of $28. This incident has left us with a negative impression and we have no intention of returning to this establishment in the future.
There were limited wine and menu options available without explanation on a Friday night at 5:30pm. Additionally, Parmesan cheese was not provided for my pasta, and I had to pay extra for it.
This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The food was terrible - the seafood was overcooked, the polenta was gelatinous, and our orders were incorrect and arrived late. Surprisingly, for a seafood restaurant, they were out of most white wine. The music was too loud and the booths were uncomfortable. It was very quiet for a Saturday night - it seemed like they were getting ready to close.
It was my sisters birthday. Not a great experience. They were out of oysters calamari. Drinks were terrible. Ceviche served without cracker or taco chips. Our dinner was good but I won’t be back.
Loud hip-hop club music playing. Difficult to talk. Food is good.
