Loved their charcuterie board to go! Fast and efficient pick up. It had an incredible selection of meats and cheeses that were thoughtfully identified. Took it home and had a picnic with the puppy paired with gin and tonics!

So good. Was there for a private event, so I can't speak to its normal operations and menu, but we had a wide variety of foods, starting with meats and cheeses, and ending with an baked apple- based dish and everything was just great. Thoughtful and inventive dishes with twists that elevated the traditional ingredients to an almost exotic level.

Vegans Beware, jk come in. Came across this place because because I could smell it from outside. That’s how you know a place is going to be good. The meat and cheese selections were amazing. The wine list could have been better, only reason it has 4 stars. If you’re looking for a real adventure, check out the bathrooms. Would definitely come here again.

This place never fails. Its a testament to ownership/management, but the staff ALWAYS goes above and beyond to assist you in a manner that is truly a rarity these days. They treat you like family. The products always speak for themselves. This establishment exemplifies all that is good about Chicago and its food culture. Cheers to the team. (Specifically 12/20/21 early afternoon but have been many times. The assistance and kindness of the team behind the meat counter is truly special) Stopped in again 10am Sunday 2/27, same cashier, helpful and pleasant as always, new counter/butcher was friendly and as helpful as the rest. Wonderful service in an environment that can occasionally be intimidating due to the unique nature of the product. That said the product remains superior to anything I have found anywhere. An absolute value when everything is taken into consideration. Its an experience that is second to none. This Porchetta sandwich should be known and understood throughout the city as one of Chicago’s great menu items and cherished amongst its great sandwiches the way people discuss beef sandwiches and cheese burgers. It’s a real gem. Like really really.
