Orange is my favorite restaurant in Chicago—so much so that my partner and I ensured our home search focused on places within walking distance. Dining here is both adventurous and comforting, with a creative and delicious menu. The atmosphere is sweet, local, and wonderfully unpretentious. I always order the Tijuana Eggs Benedict, although I’ve tried most of the menu and everything is fantastic. Still, I can't help b... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Orange Chicago, Roscoe Village:
My friend brought me to this restaurant because she wanted to make sure we arrived before closing time. Now I understand why it’s going out of business. I’ve come down with food poisoning, and I’m certain it’s from this place. As a food scientist (yes, that’s true), I can say with confidence it was the only thing I consumed today. Béarnaise sauce always carries some risk, and unfortunately, I took that chance at the... View all feedback.
I am a little upset at this place. My kids say their pancakes are better than mine snd I am not comfortable with that. Truly though the pancake flight was amazing, and huevos rancheros were very good, but get them with the chorizo. Coffee is a bit strong for my tastes.
Incredibly inventive bruch. ive not tried a thing here i didnt like. pancake flights r awesome desserts to share. u can make ur own juice-just check off the list what u want-ive tried some pretty weird combinations but always good. also they have fabulous artwork here-i bought a little red riding hood anime style. but the piece de resistance is def the frushi-reasonably priced, aesthetically pleasing delish! see pics
I’ve always loved this place, but today was exceptional. Service to food and coffee, everything was perfect. Joseph was our server and it was the best service we’ve had in a very long time. Get the orange coffee and frushi...you won’t be disappointed!
Overall: A solid bet for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning. The good: Delicious food, great service, and plenty of seating. We sat down immediately and were presented a good-sized menu of options. I ordered the peppercorn raspberry sandwich, which was flavorful and featured a savory-yet-sweet tang to it. The portion sizes are filling but not overwhelming as well, so you don 't feel sick afterward. The not-so-good: Honestly, not much. Just not a '5-star ' experience , but it still deserves a stop! Food/drink: 8/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Service: 8/10
