Absolutely delicious food and a very cool vibe. I remember Le Colonial from my days in NYC in the early and this brought me right back. Our favorites were the monkfish and the caramelized beef paired with garlic noodles. It was so good, we almost went back for dinner again. Alas, we will have to wait until we visit Chicago again. Le Colonial will be be tops on our list View all feedback.

Great quality and good tasting food, very very mediocre service however, on top of unfulfilling promise of a great table to celebrate a birthday (got stuck in between two groups of loud people in the back). View all feedback.
Reminds me of a restaurant in Santa Barbara. Atmosphere was nice. Food was very, very tasty. Nice spot for a lunch date (ambiance nice). This was Hubby's birthday lunch after a day of shopping, and this added the finishing touch to the day.Food: 5/5
The combination of flavors in every dish were superb. We didn't have reservations, but were able to get seating at a small table by the fireplace. Even though it's an out of the way pocket, the staff were very attentive to us. Food came quickly and so did the drinks.Food: 5/5
