Been here twice. I’ve tried the adobo-rito and the rice bowl and they both hit the spot. There’s a lot here I want to try so I’m looking forward to coming back. Wish it was open a little later since it’s located near all these bars.
The service at Flip Sigi was excellent. The staff was friendly and happy to help us navigate the menu and make recommendations. Although the restaurant is small, my dining companion and I were able to enjoy our meal comfortably. I also grabbed a slice of their ube pie to go, which I believe is made by a local baker. My sister was so impressed that she wanted to return the next day.
I believe that supporting a candidate who promotes such policies is harmful to the community and goes against the values of inclusivity and social justice that Flip Sigi claims to uphold. I encourage Flip Sigi to reconsider its support for this candidate and instead endorse those who prioritize community-based solutions to public safety. As a loyal customer, I believe that Flip Sigi has the potential to support policies and candidates that align with its values and mission. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Really tasty, good cheap eats!I don 't have many points of comparison for Filipino food so I cannot speak to authenticity at all, but the food I had here was delicious and very affordable, so I guess that 's all that matters! The portion sizes were very solid too I felt satiated after my meal. I imagine someone with a smaller appetite might have enough for leftovers. The inside is small, but there is still room to dine in. There is a counter where you order and pay, and the food comes out pretty quickly. Over all, I had a had a positive experience here, and I am looking forward to coming back to try more!
OVERALL: Closer to a 2.5 but I rounded down because it 's definitely not a 3/5. I was super excited for a Filipino/Mexican fusion restaurant but this fell flat. I 'd give it another chance as I was told tacos may be better?*update* this made me sick this morning after eating this :(FOOD: We ordered the Flip Rito, the Plan B Rito, and the Nice Bun. I 'll start with the Nice Bun because that was a 4/5. The flavors were really nice but the bun itself was not doughy. The pork belly was cooked well. The burritos were really disappointing. Even though they have items that could give some texture (hashbrowns) everything felt mushy and under seasoned. It was just very bland for something that had a lot of potential. The fries on the side were classic fast food fries but they were perfectly salted. ATMOSPHERE: A cute little restaurant that has neon lights. Really empty though, that probably should 've been a red flag. SERVICE: The person working wasn 't the best but wasn 't the worst. Didn 't really give recommendations and was really just there to ring us up. We 'd ask a question and it would take awhile for her to respond even though she was looking right at us (ex: do you have limes? The answer was no btw after 10 whole seconds and her asking us to repeat the question). She also gave us someone else 's to-go order (my friend requested no tomatoes and got one with tomatoes) and she said oops well I guess the other guy gets no tomatoes then . Seems pretty unprofessional. PRICE: $13 for a burrito and fries isn 't too bad and the nice bun was $4.
