Bulerias Tapas Humboldt Park Wow District

We have been to their location on Ashland and tried the new location. Food was good service great. We will be back.

We arrived at around 830 and were excited to try a new tapas place. Ordered our favorite tapas... to our disappointment the first three they were out. The place was not packed and we could not understand how they could be out of patatas bravas and octopus.. decide to try other plates. Sangrias was expensive for the amount serve. Tapas were smaller than we are used too and pricey..

Food was delicious and I'm happy there's another restaurant like this in the neighborhood. The only reason I didn't give all 4 and 5 stars is that the service was lacking our reservation was at 8:15, we didn't get seated until 8:30; we put in our order soon after and didn't get our first dish until 9pm. What I noticed is that the 2 servers were acting as hosts, bartenders, servers and runners...on a Saturday night! I think 2 more people would have solved the issue. I hope they address this (as I know other people have noted this issue in their reviews) soon! If so, it'll be one of our go to spots!

Great spot! Food was seriously outstanding. Our server was incredible once we were seated but we stood around for 10 minutes waiting for a host/hostess and we finally had to go to the bar to let them know we had a reservation and then we still waited. Despite the initial hiccup, it was an incredible meal and would highly recommend. PS the cocktails are delish and lethal.

Great food and service and very good value for quality! I would definitely go back!
