The service was outstanding, and the friendly staff assisted us in navigating the accessible elevators to reach our performance effortlessly. What Aurora Surdu doesn't like about 312 Chicago:
I had pre show dinner with a friend. Drink list was very limited. I got the daiquiri, it had a very wired taste like a juice made from rotten fruit. Also it 's supposed to have luxardo cherries. It had none. I looked at the menu to see if I can switch with something else but it was so limited that I couldn 't see anything that would work. My food , striped bass was satisfactory. Dropped in without booking tonight, warmly welcomed. We had one of the best meals since arriving in the US. As visitors from Australia we were very impressed with the wait staff and commend everyone for the meal and attention.
Then on to 312 CHICAGO for dinner. Awesome scallops and salmon dinners AND the chef offered to split the dinners between our two plates. Our server, Marina, was very friendly and chatty. The cream that you see on this flourless chocolate cake is pistachio whipped cream. Oh wait, Marina just brought us some complimentary Peach Limon cello that the chef is busy making. What a delight!
We went after seeing Aladdin next door. Even the kitchen wasn't supposed to open until 5:00 we were seated and told we could order appetizers, salad or soup. When we were finishing our appetizer, soup the waiter said he would see if the kitchen was ready for our order. It was just after 4:00. We were able to place our order, and our food was ready by 4:30. I would recommend this place to those going to the Cadillac Palace Theater on Randolph. 312 Chicago is right around the corner on Lasalle.
My wife and I came to Chicago for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary, a friend recommended 312 Chicago. We were not disappointed! We love Italian, and found the food to be fabulous! Our waiter did such a good job, was very helpful and friendly. The young lady at the desk was also very nice and friendly. I will certainly recommend 312 Chicago to friends!
Ended up here on accident but my goodness. The food was fabulous and our server, Marco, was friendly and efficient. He talked us into dessert and the tiramisu was to die for!
