Stopped in for a quick bite while driving through town. Got seated right away. Our server was great! Rolls with olive oil were yummy! Our pizza and calamari came out quickly and we’re delish! View all feedback.
What Delilah Holmes doesn't like about Luisa's Cucina Italiana:
The service was great and quick. The food was really disappointing. I ordered the scallop bianco special. The sauce was so bland. There were large slices of raw garlic in it. Not worth the $29! View all feedback.
Wonderful food and service. Generous portions. If you want to go, make a reservation. They fill up FAST.
We use Luisa's for catering and they are AMAZING. Feeding 55 20-somethings is no small task, but they are up to the job...everytime! Deb is great and goes out of her way to make sure everything is right. Cannot recommend enough.
The food was good, not great. Cream of crab soup had a nice flavor but was far too thin. The pasta dishes were good. I dont think i would get the same thing. The cheesy garlic bread was good. The bread for the table dipped in the flovired olive oil and cheese was steller. For a smaller town like Chestertown, it was good and worth a visit.
Was our first time eating here today. Busy lunchtime crowd but service was phenomenal. I cannot remember our waitresses name but she was an older gal who was extremely friendly and top notch. I'd come back just to have her again as our waitress. I had the cream of crab soup and thought it was delicious. Had plenty of crab meat and very flavorful. We also had the Mozzarella Caprese which was fresh and tasty. We also ordered the chicken parm which was decent. The chicken was slightly overcooked but still pretty good, especially for $11. She had the Shrimp Riviera which was just ok as a couple of the shrimp were a little mushy. We probably wouldn't order that dish again. We will absolutely be back to try out a few more items from the menu! Thank you for a nice first experience!
If you’re in the mood for Italian in Chestertown, Louisa’s is the place to be. Whether you’re looking for a good pizza or home style Italian cooking, you’ll be satisfied. The menu is expansive and there’s more than enough for carnivores, omnivores, and vegetarians. Make a reservation if you want a seat in the beautiful, wood-paneled dining room. If you forgot reservations there is a side-room. I recommend reservations, because the ambiance is great. Over multiple visits Louisa's has been a good experience. Parking nearby is sparing, so be mindful. Enjoy yourself. Don't be an a$$h0le.
