Like the atmosphere. And my waitress Jasmine was great. Today I had a New York pizza, but they also have St. Louis at Chicago Syltyle. I like her Chicago style, I think it's the best I had on site since Uno closed her St. Louis locations. (Not really a fan of Pi) Your Mozzarella Sticks are the same generic, out of a bag type that have most places, but at least they are served really hot. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Talaynas Italian:
Ordered pizza and some garlic bread for pickup. The pizza was ok. The service was excellent. Lots of room inside for social distancing and about 5 tables outside when weather is nice. View all feedback.
My husband and I went to lunch today and had an excellent experience, although there were only 2 employees there when we arrived. One served and the other was cooking and serving. I didn't feel any help for them, but we never knew they had no help if we didn't say it. The service and food quality was EXCELLENT! More and more customers came to lunch, but the service remained consistently wonderful. We sat immediately, our order took immediately, and our food came faster than sometimes it has in the past with many employees there. We ordered everything you can eat, pizza, pasta, salad and everything delicious. Immediately before our departure, another server came to help them thankfully, but the two people there all the time a man and a young woman) deserve praise for all their hard work and stay calm and pleasant in a less than ideal situation. Thanks for a great lunch today!
Good food and good service, but beware of additional fees! Our exam said there was a 3.5 percent fee for credit card transactions for each item. That was before we even presented the card. When we asked our server, she said the additional fee would be likely? If we pay money. Probably? We got a new check with a little lower amount, but would we even have given it if we hadn't asked? Why is a restaurant that processes such cards? I could understand with Square or similar app for a little business, but not for a restaurant. How much money do they steal from customers, either pay with a card or cash, without even recognizing that it happens? Why not only increase prices by 3 or 4 percent? Food was good, and I was ready to come back, but not afterwards. It only felt shady and bizzare. A very strange business practice when you ask me.

Excellent food. Great service. Visited them as we were familiar with the old university town in Saint Louis. Loved the glass Windows. Wasn?t on the ubiquitous big TVs. Saint Louis.
The food was great and the delivery was fast. The pizza had great flavor. The only issue we had was the deep dish pizza toppings slid to one side and even started to come off. Which is probably not from the restaurant. We will definitely try it again.
