What Marti P doesn't like about Mike Duffy's Pub Grill:
Today, Michael provided excellent service at Duffy's. He is a fantastic addition to the team and deserves Five Stars. However, I can only give the food Three Stars today. The chili was delicious, but I prefer panko-coated onion rings over the beer-battered ones Duffy serves, which was a bit disappointing. Additionally, the wings were a bit small for the price. Wasn’t memorable. The food wasn’t better or worst than anywhere else and it’s overpriced for what it is (due to the area its in). You can tell they cater to the older crowd in their polos and khaki shorts. We had just left an aquatic facility so were in athletic shorts and tshirts. Just remember.. don’t judge a book by its cover! We are very generous tippers but the service was so bad it was hard to tip even 15%. Of all the people that sat down the same time as us, we were last for everything. Everyones orders around us was taken first. A gentleman even sat down behind us, got his food literally at the same time they took our order. Should’ve just walked out. Mind you we weren’t there at a crazy time like friday or saturday night. I don’t live in the area but am out this way a lot for other reasons, but I can say I doubt i’ll ever choose this place again.
Good pizza a little light on toppings. 10 minutes after serving us waitress asked if we wanted box to take rest home. 5 minutes later back with same question. I had to ask if she wanted us to leave. Bad service
We always forget about this place, but when we go in we always have good food, friendly service, at good prices. Tons of seating. Relaxed bar and grill atmosphere. Huge menu. Full bar. Tvs throughout so you won't miss the game. We love the pizza, toasted ravs, and sandwiches (burgers and wraps). Wings are good too. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Great for families, friends, or casual date night dinner. Interior could use some updating, but overall clean and maintained. Ample parking around building.
It was just like how I remember. We ordered the Patty Melt and Duffy’s Famous Burger. Both were cooked perfectly and the bread/buns were fresh. I forgot how great their fries are. Perfect size and crispness (I cheated on my diet for their fries). Excellent and friendly service. Outstanding!
The food is great and proportional, we ordered the Duffy cheese burgers and a side of chili and we were completely satisfied and full when done
