We had a wonderful server, first of all. The restaurant is adorable and cozy. Our food was delicious, and we tried fried pickled green tomatoes, corn bread, burger and chicken and waffles. However, I got very sick a couple of hours later. My fiance was nauseous but we just assumed we ate too much, and since we don't eat out often, too much fried and salty food didn't sit well with me. Had a great dinner with friends. we enjoy the South style eating, and the menu is always interesting
Everything was wonderful. Our server was so attentive and pleasant/professional even though it was very busy. Can’t remember her name but she had beautiful eyes and a long braid down her back. It was Sunday around 12:30. Food was delicious as always.
Fun, flavorful food in a renovated historic tavern. Service is excellent. Highly recommend!
First time, date night. Started with cocktails at the bar, very lively, bartenders were friendly, fun, knowledgeable, delish drinks by Diana. We got switched from reg table to high top at the bar area, which was fine, more lively. Rich our server was great, knew the menu, made awesome suggestions although everything looked good. Gumbo yum (u can tell they took their time w/ the roux), seared chicken great, my stuffed trout was super yum. Nice bottle of wine. Ended with a nice cheese board. This is the kind of place where it's worth the time, effort and money to dine out. Location is a touch further out for us but again worth it for a fun delish evening. Highly recommend it. Will be back.
Requested a corner as this was a retirement party. We were placed right in the center of the room! Food was good but choices were limited due to mid-day menu. We ordered at 4:45, dinner menu started at 5.
