This is an absolute great pub ,food ,atmosphere ,very nice and clean and the staff go above and beyond ,we went in to watch fa cup final had home made pizza and chips ,once match finished everyone was offered complimentary ice cream cone with choice of flavours ,nice touch to finish off a great day ,going bak on Sunday for roast dinner ,well done to all the team great job well done . Cannot write a proper review because after calling in to the travellers rest today about 1pm for some lunch, we found the place closed after passing a number of times this year when ther appeared to be plenty of custom mid afternoon. Lovely little place to eat and drink. Mike served us and he was so polite and professional. Really do recommend it and the food.
We came here for steak night and wow the quality of the food was amazing. It was our anniversary and they went above and beyond by leaving us a Toblerone bar with “happy anniversary” on it. I can not fault this place at all. Amazing.

Lovely pub with a friendly and welcoming host. The draft ales were extremely well looked after and were delicious. The meals were amazing! It says homemade and you can tell it is. Can't wait to go again.
Great homemade food, lovely views too. Will visit again.
