Always a nice atmosphere in here, staff always chatty and friendly. Good choice of food in the menu and all taste different. Good portion sizes and reasonably priced. Limited choice of beers. Definately recommend this venue. View all feedback.

This is the best curry restaurant I have ever been to! The service was excellent, the food was amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
My partner and I went to this restaurant after seeing positive reviews online. He likes madras curry and I prefer dishes with chili and garlic. Unfortunately, both of our meals were extremely disappointing. The madras was bad and my chili garlic dish had crunchy, dried garlic flakes on top. I pride myself on being a curry expert and can confidently say that this is the worst place I have ever eaten at, so some of the reviews must be fake. Additionally, the seating was cramped and we felt pressured to interact with strangers. This restaurant is definitely the worst we have ever visited. The sides were served in small breakfast bowls, which is not what we expected. I welcome any challenges to this review because I believe this place deserves criticism.
You know a place is good when it is busy on a Monday evening. We went about 7pm and it was pleasantly full. Everything was seemless. We were seated quickly, menus given, drinks order taken, food order taken etc in a timely way. We shared poppadums and a chutney tray, then I had a chicken karahi and my partner had a chicken tikka masala with pilau rice. We ordered a garlic naan each (no sharing that delicious goodness! and a large glass of rose and a pint of beer and it all came to under £50. It was all fresh and full of flavour, in my karahi I could taste the ginger in it afterwards. The chicken was moist and tender, the rice fluffy and separated, breads fluffy and perfectly cooked. My partners tikka masala wasn't too sweet, and had a fresh coconut flavour to it. Highly recommend this gem that a local friend told me about a while ago and only had the good fortune to visit now. We will be back.
On a recent trip to the Wirral for some medical treatment my nurse recommended Holdi to me. And I have to say I’m glad she did. The meal was reasonably priced. A really good choice of dishes. It was all really tasty. If I am ever back up this way again I would definitely revisit here for a good meal. It was very busy even for midweek so appears to be popular in the area and I can see why.
I had a lovely and laid-back dinner here in the early evening. The food and service were excellent. I would definitely recommend a visit to this restaurant.
