Our friend Rick, who grew up in the tranquil hills of High Peak, recommended The Swan Inn in Kettleshulme to us. He has been a regular at this charming pub for years and wanted us to experience the delicious food and cozy atmosphere that make it a favorite among locals. The pub is small, with two cozy rooms filled with knick-knacks and beautiful antique furniture. Despite being busy on a Sunday lunchtime, they managed to accommodate our group of ten. The menu at The Swan Inn offers honest, traditional dishes that are sure to satisfy any appetite.

One of the best country pubs. most of the local country pubs' have closed, but the swann inn is just too good to lose a very well established country pub, excellent service, good food, parking, one of the locals who has not closed
The swan is a family owner free house and has a quite small parking lot that gets very quickly full, as its very popular pub. if the parking lot is full, there are limited street parking on the hill on the road. the pub is...from three areas, the dining room, the bar area and the copper room and the booking is recommended. the bierkeller was renovated and there were no real ales in the offer. there were no white zinfandel or no premium lag. the pub was clean and well presented and there were many employees who were all friendly and very efficient. the menu was very small with only one vegetarian option. there were no chicken options and the main choice was fish or red meat. the food was cooked and presented to an exceptionally high standard, which is more associated with a high-quality restaurant than a village pub. the prices were expensive and although the quality of the food was excellent the price-performance ratio was bad. the ongoing renovations did not depart from a pleasant experience. if they are happy to pay the best prices for high quality cooked food, then the wan would be an excellent choice as long as they check the menu food before making sure that there is something that meets their requirements.
