What 3Alisha P 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Gurkha Dining:
The food was mediocre and expensive for what it is, but the main reason it's 3 stars is because our wait time was so long. We got in just after 6 and didn't leave until after 8. There were only 2 other tables when we arrived, two tables left and another came, so how was it so slow? The four of us just visited gurkha dining, had a good meal consisting of three dosas and the mixed grill. the food was delicious and fresh, the staff was polite and friendly. ends up paying about £20 a head including drinks. the restaurant has free wlan.
Go for the first time and please note when it says sharp, it means it. I had hot and sour suppe followed by spicy fishing. Woman had tandoori seabass, that was the highlight. definitiw a bash worth. the personal was also nice
Very nice restaurant, have to say gurkha that will be my favorite, since I had no bad yet and that was definitiw 10/10. beautiful decoration and atmosphere, very friendly staff and eating tasted amazing. I had the Himalayan chicken and my working mate had the chicken biryani. both liked it
Fantastic restaurant. Friendly staff. Lovely food. All the main staples of Indian restaurants are available but, for a truly unique and delicious experience, I recommend trying the Nepalese dishes. Me and my partner had the ghrkha regimental meal which was wonderful. I can also vouch for the sinsu and the gurkhali noodles which I have had previously.
