They seemed busy, but there weren't many customers. It took about five minutes before they had time to make our ice cone. Inside it was clean, there is the order counter and then a separate pick-up window. It has a self-service soda machine. Many tables inside and outside. It looked like they had put their cups and cones on the back of their ice machine, and they were from the fruity icedrop I had hoped. The journey... View all feedback.
What Malvina Ziemann doesn't like about Dairy Queen Grill Chill:
Was given a ?freshly made? Blizzard at this location and told it had melted a little ?because of the heat,? even though it?s an air conditioned building? I was hoping to drive home to put it in my freezer to firm up, but turning onto my home road made the top portion spill into my cup holder. I bought two blizzards from there just now. This is what $9.88 gets you. The store won?t answer their phone and corporate is c... View all feedback.
I sat in drive thru for 10 minutes we never moved. So I went inside lady told me she?d be with me shortly. She then took all the drive thru orders while I watched several employees just mill around. I finally walked out still hungry. I wouldn?t wastemy time or money. This isn?t the first time either. A month ago we went on a Sunday and was told they don?t open until 1 pm.
Walked in the dining room right at 8pm to have the supervisor on duty scream at us across the room that the dining room was closed. The door was clearly marked for 9pm (Not 8) closing and ample staff were present to handle a two person order.Disappointing experience to say the least .

It looked like they had put their cups and cones on the back of their ice machine, and they were from the fruity icedrop I had hoped. The journey through was secured at the order kiosk, although no cars were on the window. I guess they are short staff, or it simply lacks training and experience to let things flow smoothly. The ice is good, for a simple cone or deck, I can save money by going over the street.
Door to store was randomly locked, although drive thru appeared to be opened. At least put up a sign saying the lobby is closed. I guess the new expectation is that lobbies are closed unless specifically stated. I?ve also waited at this location for 20 minutes at the drive thru microphone, waiting for someone to take my order, only to have the workers cut the lights out on me 20 minutes before closing. I?d say the owner should be ashamed, but he?s probably on some beach somewhere living the high life. Probably why his team doesn?t care to work?
Walked in to one other family in the dining area and nobody was at the register. My family and I waited about 10 to 15 minutes. We were never spoken to and nobody ever came to take our order. The employees who did look our way never spoke and just had scowls on their faces. We eventually left. Please remind employees to at least acknowledge the customers.
