What Helen E doesn't like about Once Upon A Thyme:
Very disappointed. A year ago I went here for the first time with a friend. I got just a slice of carrot cake and a drink. We stayed there to eat and the cake was very good. Nice size for the amount it cost. Well since it was my birthday and I really wanted another slice of that scrumptious carrot cake I stopped in to get a slice to go. So obviously the to go portion is half the size of what you get when you dine in.... View all feedback.
Once on a thyme is real house-style food. Delicious salads, soups, sandwiches, smoothies, all made in the house. Service is quick friendly, just order at the counter, take your number, have a place. It is probably one of the two best places to eat between Portland and Seattle along page I-5. The other excellent restaurant is of course Daddy D’s BBQ in Woodland, WA. Once on a thyme deserves 6 stars for food fresh taste.
We visited once on a thyme after seeing it from Diners, Drive to Dives. What a charming little business, so sweet furnished inside! The food was so good! I had the turkey artichoke panini! It was super tasteful, and I loved the coarsely cut turkey instead of lunch meat slices. Great job!
Oh, my God, what a delicious meal. I have soup and half a sandwich bean soup, Ruban. Oh so good!!!! Clean must wear mask sweet restaurant and icy teas very tasty. Our new lunch. You have to do it!!
All right! Great sandwiches and too many good choices. The staff was super nice. Use the ride and we need to come back to try some more options.
This place is delish! We stopped on a road trip, and were pleasantly surprised by the quality and variation of choices. We had the Reuben, Turkey artichoke, beef, and fig ham; fam favorites were the artichoke and fig. It is woman owned and operated (the “thyme team!” , and everyone was incredibly sweet and helpful. Worth the stop!
