If you are driving through..great place to stop. A little taste of home cooking. The ladies are really friendly and the food is great. I love the chalk board where they add and take away the sides and desserts. View all feedback.
What JOYinOK doesn't like about Irene's Kountry Kookin:
Good: Large breakfast portion sizes. Good grits. Requests for crispy hashbrowns and eggs cooked medium done correctly. Real butter and Cajun seasoning on the table were welcome. Pleasant waitstaff. Bad: Overall bland food. Chicken fried steak not available at breakfast. View all feedback.
I drove here on Monday to find the place closed. The hours on the door said open on Monday thru Saturday. I think they are closed permanently.

The food taste okay it was hot whenever I got it but still it is a greasy spoon in small-town
This place is amazing. In town for weekend randomly picked off here. Had an egg scramble biscuit gravy. It is cash or check only!
Really good country food. It definitely tasted better than other country breakfasts o tried while traveling trough the USA. It is a must stop if your by the area. People are friendly both staff and customers. Great experience.
