We wanted ramen and figured that we'd try here for a change instead of going to Ippudo all the time. The place is nice and cosy, small but enough tables inside that it's not too busy if you come during a weekday lunch.
We ordered the Black Garlic ramen and the Karaage Curry (both $12.80). The ramen was super tasty, I really enjoyed the tonkotsu soup and the garlic flavour. The curry was delicious, a bit thinner tha... View all feedback.
What Tyreek Ratke doesn't like about Hakata-Maru Ramen:
Absolutely need to improve their customer service. The lead waitress ( with long hair) was atrociously rude when she tried asking us to leave and wait outside for another table. This was when we had been comfortably seated by her other colleague. She ruined our appetite to dine at the restaurant and we decided to pack and leave. There's no point arguing with someone like her on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. And... View all feedback.
Our favorites are the Karaage chicken rice bowl and the white tonkotsu ramen, these are the first two on the list and they always hit the point, so good!
It is still a cold-ranked night ... Grief To break the hot pot routine time for a heartfelt ramen to shake off the whole misery .... Grief I knew that the name was trusted, I think I saw this place in China city somewhere ... could not stuck my finger on it, but well, we were in Chatswood and we wanted to ramen so Wah la! Grief Grief Okay, the Miso Tonkatsu Ramen! Noodles very elastic ... or in Chinese we call it "jumping teeth", which have invented this sentence and how high they were ...? Crushed way, I say is okay oh, and no piece of chashu, but hey, the scattered traces of the fried pork belly were different - I say an acceptable. After all, ramen is around the noodles, soup and bamboo shots; Yes, the topping I take care of me ... now the soup! Are you smart and put butter in your miso soup hakata ...! Honestly, I can not even remember how long I have seen butter as a topping, but memory, I remember that I remember the best Miso Ramen, what I had in Japan ... Singing Note *** if You have not put butter, then you can do Kuddos to you to taste butter! Grief Grief The other one was the signature Hakata Ramen, dangerous times when I see "Signature" on the menu, cause you to almost hire yourself ... or artificial to give a higher bar to give you a higher bar Jump to jump! With the utmost courtesy and I believe that she was a great job, was the waitress that I had asked in a newly factor, which was the difference between the signature and the normal Tonkatsu soup, with which she had answered with a black garlic rams, With more topping, to which I say that I say that I say that I say honesty! Grief Grief So at least ... yeah only a black garlic tonkatsu ramen with more toppings! I would not say that it's "signature" because there is nothing else, which is really different from the regular soup; However, it came with the straight noodles "which ID just call egg-less noodles," they are better than egg ramen noodles, Nada, but "authenticity" yes! Grief Grief So on the soups! Wonderful, magical and I would not ask for something else in such a night. Egg noodles great beautiful, cooked in dente state. Egg less straight noodles, also very well cooked, but it's just inferior egg noodles in terms of taste ... I mean, the best ramen pasta used ducki ... maybe that's my pre-used egg noodles? Grief Grief Many many criticism, but look, I certainly feel like me They surpassed my expectations or maybe it was just the right weather, but maybe I have to come back to make quality control ...?

This was when we had been comfortably seated by her other colleague. She ruined our appetite to dine at the restaurant and we decided to pack and leave. There's no point arguing with someone like her on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. And we definitely won't return to dine in a place with such huge lack of respect for diners. Do improve your staff's service to patrons as your food isn't of great quality either with greasy and salty broth. Glad we are never coming back again.
