Booking on line gave a 30% discount off the meals we had the pepper sausages and fish and chips, both were very nice. Large on tap soft drinks were reasonably priced but the imported beers are very expensive View all feedback.
What Coy Schoen doesn't like about Bavarian Bier Cafe:
My first visit in years, and it's just as I remember: a good feed with the sort of portions that would dismay your dietician, reflected in premium prices. It's pretty great to see the variety of ways you can serve a schnitzel. But let's talk about drinks. The policy is to serve them by the jug; you can downsize, but you'll pay the same price, so you may as well get the jug. This is madness. People need to be looked af... View all feedback.
Great food across the menu. excellent service and good beverages, 10/10 recommend. Great atmosphere and a very good price!
Great value specials although I was disappointed at how slow and unattentive the table service was. Service needs improvement guys.
Fun entertaining place! Thank you to Lesa who had a great personality and was very welcoming! Also Tom who was a very friendly bar man!!
Considering it was very busy the food came out quickly and was extremely good. I had the chilli squid and and friends had a variety of dishes. We were all very impressed. Little slow at taking orders at the bar but staff where very friendly...and helpful. This is the complete opposite to what I had experienced twice at the Bavarian at the entertainment quarter in the same month. Would not recommend this one at all for service or food. Chatswood is one of the best ones I’ve been to.
The beer is good as you would expect from the name. The food is also OK, it's almost true to Bavarian food. The staff are efficient, professional and friendly. The toilets are a treck outside and into the next building which means that they're not...well cared for and were a bit dirty.
