Chuck's Roadhouse Grill - Chatham

Overall our dinner was pretty good. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The spinach and cheese dip was really good. I had the rib and wing combo. Rib sauce was really good and they give you plenty on the ribs and on the side. Unfortunately the ribs were over cooked. The wings were awesome; very meaty and flavourful. My wife had chicken tacos. She would have preferred grilled chicken; she said they were like chicken fingers. She said the sauce was really good and she liked the sweet potato fries. She enjoyed her meal.

I have had Dine in here before and it was pretty good. However I have had take out here and it is absolutely the worst. My stake was black, I meant burnt beyond eating. The lobster was fresh and cooked properly and well seasoned but that was about it. From a meal costing $70 and change I felt I got maybe $20 of good value. Maybe it was because of take out and they aren't working for a tip but it was ridiculous. Would never ever have take out from this place again. Highly doubt going to dine in after the experience as well. Hopefully they get their thing together.

Great photos on the website but here 's what the meal actually looks like. Got takeout, this is the chicken tacos and paid the additional price to upgrade to onion rings. Six soggy onion rings. There are some other items in the order, but seeing the tiny quantities of everything for the price (including Chuck 's honest to goodness tax) and tipping in advance, there 's no way I 'm coming back here.

I have been to both Chucks Roadhouse in Windsor and have always had a good experience. Both my wife and I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger at the Chatham location. The issues began when we first got our meal and the bacon was not cooked completely, on both burgers. As I began to eat the burger, I noticed the grease dripping down from my hands. I will admit, I know burgers are normally a little greasy, but this was a streem of grease. The service was not bad, but I had only eaten about 1/4 of the burger when I told the waitress. We were not offered an compensation . Not a great experience AT ALL. The only reason why this review got 3 's and not two and the reason the server got a tip, is because she was pleasent. I should not have given a tip.

It was a nice experience the huge open concept and screens would be great for games or big events. It would be nice to have potatoes with steak mashed or baked not fries. No vegetables also was a bit odd. Just a tiny piece of corn which is another starch. Also the steak while flavour was good it seems there is no middle ground. All I want is a nice thin pink line. My son ordered medium well I ordered medium. His was over cooked and very dry mine was very red and not what I wanted either. Something definitely needs to be improved there. The loaded cheese fries are still a great appetizer and still one of my favorites. The waitress was nice and friendly even though it was busy she was always checking on us when she had time. The place is great to hang out the atmosphere is also great, but would like to add a few small thing to the menu like veggies or potatoes.
