Good reception. On the other hand, too expensive for quantity
Dear and insipid. Despite the quality of service and reception as well as the neat and warm decor, we will unfortunately only keep disappointment by consuming our little boccals without taste, leaving us on our hunger in the sense of our own as with the figurative. Duck fibers warm up in the microwave bathed in the water at the bottom of the pot and we searched in vain for the flavour of orange and meat supposedly confined. We told the boy who seemed sincerely sorry and had the kindness to offer us a coffee to comfort us. But the €16 spent on each pot remains a bit on the stomach.
It's the second time I go to this establishment and frankly it's nice in these times of VID to find a restaurant open in the evening in the week on the area of Pouilly in Auxois. If I put 4 stars and not 5 , it's only because this type of restoration quite original based on bocals cooked by large culinary labs and fine grocery products make it as expensive as a menu at 50 euros per person in a classic restaurant (aperitif, entry, dish, dessert, fruit juice but actually the quality is at your disposal. On the other hand, if you are a big eater this is not the right place: the jar portions are made for a lambda but delicious appetite. And the atmosphere is very cocoon and very current. Personally I love it. But don't plan a meal beyond 4, it's a small establishment and the tables are not many. And you can even make a stop at the adjacent fine grocery store to buy local food and wine. The staff is very kind that it is Eloïse (promised next time I would take the cheese cake and come with my Pannacota that Philippe the 2 sales servers and the manager Jérémy is very friendly as well. In the middle of the beautiful village of Chateauneuf nestles the bistrot of the green meadows a charming place where it is good to be carved by Philippe. The hiberic charcuterie is divine... A pretty shop dedicated mainly to local products (Boutarde Fallot, Mulot Petitjean, anis de Flavigny) there are also the pickles of the Maison Marc 100% French.. of Vezelay beer, and bottles of all productions.. The place is very beautiful, very warm decorated with a lot of taste. We'll be back.
