Absolutely beloved Sea Level NC. I actually found it because I went to the fourth Wardsip and strolled and the owners gave Clam Chowder there. It was so delicious that I had to go back with my friend. Ben was an amazing bartender and he made the best dirty martinis and they have homemade blue cheese olives. You have $1 oysters 2PM to 6PM Monday to Friday, so we had to. My friend and I shared the Clam Chowder and it w... View all feedback.
What Nicole Herzog doesn't like about Sea Level Nc:
Can't say enough good things about this spot. The atmosphere was very chill with great mood lighting. The service was quick and the server provided great recommendations. The sea level oysters were on happy hour discount so no complaints there. But for methe highlight has to be the calamari. So much flavor and the Hawaiian delight was amazing. Will definitely return to tackle therest of the menu. View all feedback.
The Scallops and risotto was delicious as was the happy hour oysters. Dessert was super creamy and worth every bite! Wait staff was consistent at ensuring my needs were met. The only downfall was that the table for two wasn't steady, and my cocktail arrived late. I would certainly go back again.
We went here on one of our date nights because my husband loves oysters but don't like them and this place had a huge variety of oysters and the price was great too. My husband loved them. We also had two different fish dishes which were so delicious and it came together so nice. For an appetizer we had the calabash shrimp which I was licking the plate but it was a little on the salty side. All in all the service was good, food was delicious and the drinks were strong we will definitely be back
By far if there is any seafood restaurant to go dining in it has got to be the Sea Level. The waitstaff was phenomenal especially our waiter Ray. The restaurant manager Jason made us both feel at home and not only that through conversation found out we were from the same hometown. It's hard nowadays to find genuine people who truly want to make your dining experience special but I can assure you that the Sea Level does just that with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!
Tried Sea Level for Queen’s Feast a few months back and the entire dinner experience here was great! I started with the some of the best clam chowder I’ve ever had, followed by a fantastic bowl of shrimp and grits. Their entire menu looked amazing will definitely be returning to Sea Level for some great seafood in right in Uptown!
This was a nice place for dinner close to the spectrum arena. The food is expensive for what you get. The dishes were all flavorful but just not quite 5 star. For example the golden rice that came with the halibut had a nice flavor but was slightly mushy. Would return for apps and drinks but probably wouldn't invest in dinner entrees.
