What User doesn't like about Loving Hut:
This place was a huge disappointment. The meatballs were cold as soon as I took a bite, the marinara sauce was lukewarm, and the cheese didn’t even melt. The prices were way too high for such lackluster food. I understand when meals are overpriced because they're delicious and unique, but this was simply not worth it. I could make the same thing at home. This is an update from my previous review on August 3, 2021. View all feedback.
Has some good dishes, but every time I ate here I felt like I could cook something comparable even for cheaper
So many options, and many things you don't often see. I loved everything we tried. If I lived nearby, I'd eat there all the time.

If all they had was this, I would be back!! Seafood, especially fried shrimp, seems to be one of thte last things the plant-based world has perfected. This was the best vegan fried shrimp EVER. Nice comfy place with tons of options, including bento boxes!! I have to say that the won ton soup was good but maybe a tad too sweet? Also not a huge fan of their cheesecake because I like mine sweet and really decadent, but others liked it. Oh and they even have a fridge where you can buy some fake meats and maybe a few other things. Will definitely be back to try everything!! Updated from previous review on 2019-11-24
Coming from California for a quick business trip, I discovered Loving Hut on the app and headed on over. In a vegan hotel, this is a little gem you must check out, whether you are a plant-based eater or simply plant-curious. There are lots of options on the menu including some asian options. I had the shrimp appetizer that was fantastic, the spaghetti and meatballs and the kale salad. They even make their own pizzas. Everything was delicious. The hostess has a print out of what 's in the food so if you are curious to know what meat you are eating, she will tell you. Many gluten-free options as well. If you live in Charlotte, go check this place out, or if you are stopping by on a business trip. The owner, Fred, is the real deal. Vegan for 10 years and is focused on creating a community around Veganism at the hotel. Really exciting to see places like this in Charlotte. According to the Happy Cow app., there are only 5 Vegan restaurants in Charlotte and I think the community is growing.
