B Q King - Charlotte

We've been here since we highlighted it on food network. the chicken is so delicious! and it is also quite cheap. from 7-30-2022, two orders of half bbq chicken and 2 cokes was $35.08. the service is fast. it's definitely worth the trip from rock hill.

On 06/21/2022 an order was issued and the customer service was differentiated and had to deal with great auge willy at any time. I ordered fried Bbq chicken, but was deliberately equipped with pure fried chicken and cold fryed. then somehow, when I was her from the mistake with my order, they were all from fried BBQ chicken. as a native charlottean, this place was on a steady decline and will probably not be much longer open, and I will not be sad to see it going!

How have I never been here before? We were catching a Theatre Charlotte show at Warehouse 242 and, lucky for us, the first two restaurants we stopped in had longer waits than we had time for. Bar-b-q King to the rescue! Definitely a 50s vibe. You pull up to a speaker, order, and a server delivers your tray (not on roller skates though You pay the server, and there is a 3% surcharge for a card, so cash is good here. I got a grilled chicken salad and sis got a chicken club. Even though I'd never been here, I had the good sense to order the onion rings. Definitely a good choice. Light, crunchy, perfectly fried. Next time we'll give it more time as we ended up having to get to-go boxes, which were delivered promptly. Love it. Will go back!

The food was absolutely delicious, best Cole slaw I’ve ever had, and way more than we could eat

Amazing classic ride in! bbq sandwich was fantastic. can't wait to try the dipped chicken!
